The debate over your right to self defense.

My atention was drawn to a series of articles in the LA Times  From thier article:

Guns and politics, together again

Why had guns and control died out as an issue in the years prior to the Virginia Tech massacre? All this week, David Kopel and Christopher Lockwood debate gun control.

OK ... Now you may as well know, I think David Kopel is one of the sharpest minds your ever going to hear about, so I have my bias in reading these exchanges. As it happens I have had experience with firearms and self defense, so my opinion will be colored by that as well.

Havinf made those admissions, I urge you to follow the link, and read all three days worth of articles. It won't take long, and you can reach your oown conclusions. If your really interested in the truth, you can also follow up on the claims of both writers, and track down the sources that they are referencing in thier debate. Remember ... you are responsable for your own ignorance if you just let others tell you what to believe.

Anyway, I hope you find thier exchanges interesting.

USA, all the way!
